Behind Every Spotlight Is a Story
Stephen’s journey has been filled with some pretty amazing moments, but none of them happened all at once, and none of them happened alone.
Family, friends, teachers, therapists, coaches, mentors, employers, teammates, community members, programs, organizations and so many others have each played a part along the way. Some opened doors. Some offered encouragement. Some taught him something new. Some simply believed in him and gave him the opportunity to try.

There have been easy moments and difficult ones, successes and setbacks, and plenty of learning along the way. But through it all, Stephen kept growing, dreaming and moving forward, surrounded by people willing to be part of his journey.
This website isn’t here simply to showcase what Stephen has accomplished, although this mom and dad are pretty proud of him. ❤️
It’s here in the hope that someone else sees his story and remembers not to give up. Keep encouraging. Keep creating opportunities. Keep believing in what may be possible.
